Four online webinars exploring Missional Relevance and Money
This module explores how "belief in the mission correlates with growth in generosity.

A Formational Practicum for Leaders

The Financial Leadership Series for Churches will collectively cover three modules of financial stewardship content for churches. Participants can sign up for all three or individual modules to meet their ministry goals and vocational needs. Each module, held in an online format, will explore one of three recognized qualities which correlate with growth in generosity: 1.) belief in the mission; 2.) trust in leadership; and 3.) sound financial practices.

The three modules for this series are:

  1. Missional Relevance and Money (September and October 2021)
  2. Roles and Responsibilities of Finance Leadership and Stewardship Development (November and December 2021)
  3. Accountability (January and February 2022)

Each module will consist of four online 90-minute interactive webinars with a final assessment/exam. The webinars include content, application to ministry context, and reflection on assignments. Utilizing vitual learning strategies, sessions will require participation and engagement through use of virtual platform functionality such as written responses, polls, and naming functions. Webinar participation, assignments, and application work are designed to total sufficient hours to earn one (1) CEU credit per module and three (3) CEUs for all three modules

Roles and Responsibilities of Finance Leadership and Stewardship Development
Financial generosity highly correlates with trust in leadership. In Module Two, we will explore leadership roles and responsibilities within congregations and basic financial systems that build trust and transparency. Pastors, counters, trustees, and others have vital roles in financial stewardship. In addition, this Module introduces donor cultivation and development activities that equip leaders to grow ministry in any setting.
